The Contax G Series: Modern Classic

Everyone's gone to digital.  Not.  Me. Gen. Martin Dempsey takes a slightly different approach.  Sure, it might be more convenient, but shooting B&W is so 1960-licious.  And why not sweeten the fun by using a rangefinder, which is always going to be sharper than the average SLR: and with the modern niceties that the Contax G1 & G2 provide.  Why the Contax?

Well, it's probably the sharpest rangefinder of modernity.  Leica is only more expensive.  Not better.  I do wish the Contax system had a digital counterpart, but black and white isn't the same with 0s and 1s.

Everyone agrees.  Look at the camera resale values
